For all intents and purposes, this is my first post on my blog. Some have been following me since India, I thank you for your views and support. Some will be new followers of “misadventure digest” and I hope you will enjoy the things I will show you.
I’m a direct-entry into the second year of Loyalist College’s photojournalism program. It’s a two-year diploma program where we are expected to train in order to become newspaper photographers.
I hope to do just that.
I was a television broadcast student at Seneca College in Toronto. For a short time, I volunteered at Omni in the news camera department, where I lugged around sticks and sound kit for the real shooters. I also provided b-roll for the station on a part-time basis. I’ve been using still cameras since my childhood, and only started getting serious in the spring of 2003, when, in an act of reckless curiosity, I travelled to Rome in an effort to photograph the funeral of pope John Paul II.
I’m an extrovert, a Leo, a Canadian born of immigrants from Italy and Portugal. I’ve been described as funny, irreverent and politically incorrect.
In addition to seeing me as a talented young shooter, I hope you will also find me any combination of the above.
Cheers!
